Our client is an upscale apartment complex in the Shoreline area seeking a skilled Facility Maintenance Technician to join their team as a temp to hire! Mon - Fri with a pay range of $22.00 - $24.00 DOE.

Responsibilities include:
1. Performs daily service, routine and preventative maintenance in units, apartment maintenance including prep work and painting, common areas and all grounds.
2. Prepares move-in inspection report with new and vacating residents
3. Performs night duties: Assists with lock-outs, noise complaints, property review, towing of cars, emergency work-orders, and other emergencies that may arise.
4. Participates in On-Call schedule. (after hire)
5. Performs self-safety inspections around complex and with co-workers.
6. Repairs roof, plumbing, electrical, appliance and carpentry for complex.
7. Tracks key/lock system and changes locks as needed.
8. Installs new appliances such as dishwashers, ranges and refrigerators.
9. Coordinates and/or completes all work-orders; refers special requests to Site Manager.
10. Provides courtesy services for tenants, such as delivering packages, routine and preventative maintenance for pool/spa.
11. Hauls garbage as needed.
12. Repairs and repaints interior and exterior of common areas as needed.
1.High School Diploma or equivalent desired but not required.
2. Experience in apartment maintenance or related experience preferred.
3.Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
4. Ability lift up to 50 lbs. Push and pull up to 100 lbs. Daily, climb stairs and ladders and reach for supplies and perform overhead painting.
5. Demonstrated ability to understand and carry out both verbal and written instructions and directions.
6. Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical and carpentry.
7. Demonstrated ability to work cooperatively with co-workers.
