Summary: Daily reports to the Assembly Supervisor, Conventional operator lays-out and operator manual Lathes and Bridgeport machines to turn and mill production parts per customer engineering requirements. Toolmaker plans, lays-out and performs machining operations and bench work to construct, modify and repair fixtures, tools, dies, and gauges used in manufacturing so that the resulting product meets customer quality requirements within the established production deadlines. REQUIREMENTS: " Minimum 5 years of experience manufacturing in Aerospace. " Able to read aerospace mechanical blue prints and specifications. " Ability to set up & run machine with little assistance. " Self motivated, ability to work well with others, trouble shooting. " Experience working with hard materials such as Titanium, Stainless Steel. " Familiarity with geometric dimensioning and tolerancing & proficient with shop math. " Problem solve and work with co-workers in department & the engineering team. " Have the ability to build tooling.
