Our client operates a fast past plastic manufacturing plant seeking a temp to hire PLC Mechanic to repair old, or install new, electric circuits for all equipment and lighting in the Auburn facility. To troubleshoot and repair production equipment and support equipment.

Operating 3/12 hour shifts in rotation

Details:

1) Prior job experience as mechanic with electrical experience.
2) Build PLC circuits and equipment.
3) Able to read blueprints, manuals and drawings.
4) Trained in the use of hand power tools.
5) Trained in proper use of hand tools.
6) Able to lift and carry 50 lb.'s
7) Able to walk up steps or fixed ladders to 60' platform
Additional desired qualifications for experienced positions.
Able to trouble shoot mechanical devices.
Able to change belts, pulleys, gears, motors, and gearboxes.
Able to read electrical drawings and manuals (NEC)
Able to trouble shoot with the use of VOM, Megger, Clamp on amp meter.
Experience working on motor circuits, protection circuits, PLC based controls
