Project Manager


Project Manager Overview:

Our client is seeking a skilled project manager with 5+ years' experience managing high quality custom home projects in a rapid growth environment.



  • Work with custom home clients from initial sale to job completion.


  • Develop home plans with architects from client input and concept to construction drawings, ensure plans are value engineered and meet clients’ budget.


  • Manage TSH pre-construction process with clients and produce a highly detailed set of plans and specifications for each home.


  • Work with purchasing department to bid all soft and hard costs of the project and be accountable for final budgets.
  • Work with architects, interior designers, and design review committees for submittals and be the liaison for client interface throughout the life of each project.


  • Work with field management to ensure homes being constructed meet the expectation of clients and TSH standards and work with city inspectors for sign off or edits.


  • Review and approve construction drawings and shop drawings for each project.


  • Forecast subcontractor and vendor scheduling and resource conflicts and work with department manager to resolve.


  • Understand purchasing systems and be able to effectively work with purchasing department to fully purchase home and request VPOs as necessary and revise scopes of work.


  • Ensure all building codes and TSH standards of quality a re met in the field during weekly site visits.


  • Conduct walk-through inspections and other scheduled inspections with each homeowner.


  • Attend construction, monthly and quarterly meetings.

Skills/ Experience/ Qualifications


  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 5+ year’s construction experience within the home building industry.
  • Custom home construction experience required.
  • Ability to travel to job site up to 1.5 hours away from office 2-3 times a week.
  • Advanced training and hands on knowledge in one or more trades within the residential building industry strongly preferred.
  • Knowledge of homebuilding and construction systems, processes and building codes.


  • Must be able to read blueprints to maintain quality control and inspect all aspects of construction including framing, building envelope, electrical and plumbing.


  • Excellent customer service skills.
